Gameplay Programmer based in Calgary, Alberta. Working in Games since 2013 starting off as QA. Currently working at Isto Inc. as a Gameplay Programmer.Some of the places that I have worked at in the past are EA Games, Smoking Gun Interactive, Industrial Light & Magic and Unity Technologies.This site gives a bit of an overview of some of my past work as well as my current projects.

Snow Eater Studios

_Hello World
(Pre-Production)

_Hello World is a 3D Action-Adventure game with puzzle elements. The game is heavily inspired by The Legend of Zelda series. Specifically the N64/GameCube era of Zeldas. The project is being made in Unreal Engine.

Get To Work is a punishing, yet satisfying experience about a young man on a mission to conquer the corporate world... on rollerblades. Maneuver a slippery character with rollerblades on both his arms and feet that only knows how to move fast.With your narrator, Connor 'CDawgVA' Colquhoun, to encourage you on your climb to the top, navigate through massive gaps, ramps, jumps, and other devious obstacles trying to bring you down.

Role: Generalist Programmer

Responsibilities:
- Side quest content
- Audio (Music, SFX, Ambience)
- Speedrun Timer
- UI/UX
- Control Remapping
- Leaderboards
- Bug fixing


Unity

Gum

Gum is an AR social media app that allows it's users to create worlds that they are able to perform in, share and remix with their friends. This project currently remains in the alpha stage of development.
NOTE: My understanding is that this project has been abandoned by Unity.

Role: Software Developer

Responsibilities:
- Runtime Video/Audio recording system
- Runtime Video/Audio editing system
- Music library and playback system
- Content Feed system
- Scene sharing across network
- Video sharing to other social media apps
- Scene/object interactivity system
